N2  - En el barrio "La Capilla", ruta 53 del partido de Florencio Varela, se pretendió indagar sobre la falta de agua potable y su incidencia en la salud. La importancia que supone vivir sin agua segura, debido principalmente a las propias características de infraestructura urbana, la falta de recursos económicos, y saber de qué manera perciben o no la carencia de tal derecho vulnerado.
Las enfermedades transmitidas por aguas contaminadas son innumerables, las mismas pueden abarcar desde una simple infección bacteriana hasta provocar la muerte. El derecho al agua potable y al saneamiento fue definido como imprescindible para el ser humano en pleno disfrute de la vida. Las conclusiones indican que una problemática compleja como la planteada, requiere que las soluciones sean acompañadas de acciones políticas, tanto de concientización como de prevención que modifiquen condiciones estructurales de la vida de los vecinos varelense; In the "La Capilla" neightborhood, route 53 of the Florencio Varela district, the aim was to investigate the lack of drinking water and its impact on health. The importance of living without safe water, mainly due to the characteristicsof urban infrastructure, the lack of economic resources, and knowing how the perceive or not the lack of such a violated right. Diseases transmitted by contaminated water are innumerable, they can range from a simple bacterial infection to cause death. The right to drinking water and sanitation was defined as essential for the human being in full enjoyment of life. The conclusions indicate that a complex problem such as the one raised requires that the solutions be accompanied by political actions, both of awareness and prevention that modify the structural conditions of the life of the residents of Varela
