El uso de la Clozapina como antipsicótico tiene como principal reacción adversa la posibilidad de causar leucopenia que puede llevar a agranulocitosis, y si no se detecta a tiempo provocar serios problemas de salud e incluso la muerte. Por esta razón se crea el Programa de Farmacovigilancia Intensiva de Clozapina con el fin de evitar las complicaciones que puede traer el uso de este fármaco. En este trabajo integrador final se analiza y evalúa el seguimiento del Programa antes mencionado en pacientes ambulatorios de Fase I que concurren al Hospital Interzonal Dr. José A. Esteves durante el año 2021; como así también la aparición de leucopenias y el cumplimiento de las 18 semanas de controles hematológicos semanales. |
