Summary, etc	El presente estudio de investigación propone indagar el conocimiento de los enfermeros de la unidad de cuidados intermedios (UCI) sobre los cuidados en pacientes con drenaje pleural, fue realizado en el Hospital de Alta Complejidad de Bicentenario partido de Esteban Echeverría, durante el período mayo a junio del año 2022. El mismo tuvo como objetivo identicar el conocimiento del personal de enfermería de UCI sobre los cuidados en pacientes con sistema de drenajes.<br/>Material y métodos de estudio: Se realizó un estudio de investigación cuantitativo, descriptivo, observacional de corte transversal en los enfermeros que trabajan en el servicio de unidad de cuidados intermedios. Para la recolección de datos se realizó una encuesta anónima semiestructurada a un total de 40 enfermeros de UCI del Hospital Esteban Echeverría. Los datos obtenidos en el presente estudio permitirán la realización de futuros cursos, capacitaciones y/o jornadas con la finalidad de aumentar el conocimiento constante entre los profesionales de enfermería y fomentar la investigación.
