| General note | Se propone, por una parte, acercar a un público vasto y heterogéneo conocimiento tecno-científico sobre diversos temas geográficos y, por otra parte, difundir las actividades y proyectos en los que el IGN está trabajando.<br/>El contenido está estructurado en tres secciones: dossier geográfico, que reúne artículos bajo una misma cobertura espacial o temática del país; artículos libres, que abordan cuestiones que por su temática se considera importante su abordaje y difusión; e institucional, que reúne artículos que presentan las actividades, servicios, proyectos y trabajos realizados por el Instituto Geográfico Nacional.<br/>Los artículos están elaborados por profesionales y equipos de investigación de numerosas universidades del país, personal especializado de las distintas áreas del organismo, y otros expertos y colaboradores interesados en hacer conocer sus actividades y trabajos realizados. |
